Hey There,
My Name Is Vinayak Kavithia, Im From Navsari, Gujarat. So Few days Back I Had An Issue With WhatsApp Payments, So I dod Had 2 Accounts Linked With My WhatsApp Payments , Hdfc And Yes Bank. On 17 November 2025,5:01 pm I received A Payment From My Uncle For A Amount Of 500 INR, which Was Credited To My Hdfc Bank Account, Was Was Default Primary at That time, My Account Was on A Negative Balance , Hence The Money Got Debited. Right After That I Removed My HDFC Bank Account From Whatsapp Payments , As i Was Not using The account As it was On A minus Balance, Right After The Incident. Now The Only Account Which was Linked With My Whatsapp Payment Was My Yes Bank Account As A Primary Account. Next Day On 18 November 2025 , I left My WorkPlace And Was Headed Towards My Home, Meanwhile On HighyWay My Bike Tyre Got Punctured, As I was Running Low On Cash I Asked My Brother in law To send me 500 rupees , He did Sent That Throught Whatsapp As There Was A server Issue With GooglePay, But The Money Was Still Got Credited in My HDFC Bank Account, Even After Removing That From My WhatsApp Payments. When I tried To Check thinking This Might be A glith And Theres No Possibilities For this , BUt What i Found money was not credited in my Yes Bankl And it Was Credited to My HDFC Bank account, And In Whats App It Was Showing Me that Money Was Received Throught Yes Bank. After That I did Tried To Contact the customer Service team, regarding this issue , i did have a conversation like 3 times with the Rep, No One solved my issue and atated to contact the bank Instead. please do guide me with this , as this has happend with me ,and there are lots of other citizens who might be using whatsapp to send or receive payments throught whatsapp, my amount is small but we can wait for something big to happen. i have attached the screenshot
