We decided not to go with Livspace due to financial crisis, the high quotations and after learning the sub standard material they are using compared to market standards. During our visit to Livspace, Newtown, Kolkata, we were lured into paying the booking amount on the pretext of spot discount of 20% + 15%, compared to 5% if I came back later. After this no services were rendered apart for site meausrement for one flat.
Now when I've cancelled it on 31/10/2025, they're saying there's no refund policy in Livspace and I would need to buy something of value of above 4 Lacs to manage the booking amount. Even after mutliple follow-ups in WhatsApp group chat they are ignoring my concern, and telling me that they're still under the impression that we want to continue with them or either not replying at all.
All our communications with Livspace has been on WhatsApp Chat group they created.

I'm request for help to be protected from unfair trade practices and one-sided contracts. I haven't signed on any agreement or contracts with Livspace and I haven't placed any order yet, I just don't want to proceed with them due to reasons mentioned in first paragraph and want my booking amount to be refunded. As I come from a middle class family, 50k matters to me a lot, I would request to please help me getting my hard earned money back.
