I have purchased a Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5 laptop with 3 year on site repair, 3 year accidental damage protection service included for my work via their website on 24-03-2025.
After taking delivery of the laptop on 16-04-2025, I have noticed that the keyboard was defective and requested for service technician to resolve the issue, who replaced the keyboard.
As per Lenovo policy, for any defect found in a new laptop within 7 days the customer will be provided with a new laptop, which was not provided to me.
Going forward, the laptop turned off on 31-05-2025 night during working and did not work again, for which I have raised a complaint on 01-06-2025. Despite repeated request and Lenovo technicians visiting me twice on 10-06-2025 and 16-06-2025 and taking my laptop with them on 16-06-2025, they have not solved the problem.
I have emailed and communicated to their customer complaint number stating that I am not satisfied with the quality of product provided to me and have requested for the data recovery from the laptop and to issue me a full refund for it.
Thus far I have lost 21 days of work productivity since the last complaint raised and request for support in addressing my grievance inclusive of:
1. Refunding the full amount of the laptop to the tune of INR 88913
2. Recovery of my work data from the laptop free of charge
3. Compensating my loss of work from 01-06-2025 until the resolution of this issue @ INR 3000 per day (as of today, 21-06-2025 it is INR 63000)
4. Compensating my loss of mental peace INR 100000
