Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Yamaha Motors India Pvt. Ltd. and their authorized service center (Laxmi International Yamaha Authorized Service Center) for unfair practices, delay in service, for my Yamaha Ray Zr (Chassis No. ME1SEK758P0025742).
Details of the Issue:
1. I purchased the vehicle on 20/11/2023, and it is still under warranty.
2. On Sept 2024, my vehicle was serviced at the authorized service center.(Laxmi International Yamaha)
3. On the very next day after that service, the vehicle started experiencing issues again. I visited the service center continuously for last 5 months but they failed to resolve the issue promptly. Instead, they requested two additional days to inspect the vehicle, which was not feasible.
4. There is some abnormal sound coming from the engine, i started continuously giving my vehicle to them. They say there is no issues and giving back all the time. It cost me more than 10000 for every visit.
5. I lodged a complaint with the customer service center yesterday at 4pm and today morning by 10:45 i got a mail that the issue is solved. Without visiting and checking my vehicle. I have told yamaha senior engineer from yamaha itself to visit and check my vehicle. They are not visiting to check what is the issue.
6. They call them and speak later mailing that it is solved.
7. My vehicle bluetooth also got damaged after their service. Now they are not replacing it with warranty also.
I kindly request the Consumer Forum to:
1. Direct Yamaha Motors and the service center to honor the warranty and repair my vehicle without any additional charges.
2. Compensate me for the inconvenience caused due to their negligence and delay in service.
3. Ensure such issues do not occur with other customers in the future.
4. If they cant able to solve the issue, i need a replaced new vehicle or compensation to be given for damaging my new vehicle
