Subject: Complaint Against KFC India – Order Marked Delivered Without Delivery and No Resolution for 20 Days
Complaint Details:
I am filing this complaint against KFC India for deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and mental harassment caused due to non-delivery of a paid order.
I placed an online food order with KFC on APR 10 2026 bearing Order ID: K141057699 for an amount of ₹240 which was prepaid through online payment.
The order was never delivered to me. However, shockingly, the status of the order was changed to “Delivered” without sharing or verifying any customer OTP or delivery confirmation from my side.
Immediately after noticing the issue, I contacted KFC customer support multiple times. On the same day alone, I made more than 20 calls to customer service and raised several complaints through their support forum and LinkedIn platform.
Despite continuous follow-ups for the last 20 days, no resolution, refund, or proper response has been provided. KFC representatives repeatedly marked the complaint as “resolved” without actually resolving the issue.
KFC has failed to provide answers to the following:
• How was the order marked delivered without customer OTP verification?
• Who confirmed delivery internally?
• Who contacted me regarding resolution and at what time?
• What resolution was promised?
The company has neither delivered the order nor refunded my payment, causing financial loss, inconvenience, and mental harassment.
This clearly amounts to:
Deficiency in Service
Unfair Trade Practice
Negligence in Customer Grievance Handling
Relief Sought:
Immediate refund of ₹240 paid for the undelivered order.
Compensation for mental harassment and time loss.
Written explanation from KFC regarding false delivery status update.
Direction to improve delivery verification and grievance handling systems.
I request the Consumer Forum to take appropriate action against the company and provide justice to the consumer.
