I am writing this because of sheer frustration and disappointment with the way my relocation and new connection request have been handled.
I recently relocated from Urapakkam (Chengalpattu District) to Hastinapuram (Chromepet) and raised a relocation request through my Jio app. Following this, an agent named Sridhar visited and informed me that my old connection could not be used at the new location. He insisted that I purchase a new connection due to the relocation and promised installation within two business days. Based on his assurance, I paid an advance of ₹1,000 immediately.
However, after two business days, there was no update, no call, and no installation. When I contacted the agent, he simply said he would “check and get back,” but never did. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
To make things worse, when I reached out to Jio Customer Service, the response was even more disappointing. My installation request was rescheduled without any prior confirmation or consent, and I came to know about it only through an email stating that the date was moved to October 30th. This kind of careless handling of customer requests shows a serious lack of accountability.
I had clearly confirmed with the agent twice before paying the advance, and he guaranteed installation within two business days. Despite that, there has been no installation, no follow-up, no clarity on my payment, and no proper communication from your end. Even my old connection has not been collected yet.
This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and reflects very poorly on Jio’s service quality. I have been a loyal customer, but this level of negligence and false commitment is completely unacceptable.
