JIO Fiber refuses to transfer or refund recharge payment made to an inactive account to active account

We have been JIO fiber customers for over 6 years. We had two connections one of which is now inactive. Details as given below:

Jiofixed Voice number - +912235624564 (inactive/discontinued)

Jiofixed Voice number - +91912231917876 (ACTIVE)

Erroneously we made recharge payment of Rs. 2824.92 to the inactive number +912235624564 on September 18, 2025, attached payment confirmation message for your reference.

Upon realisation we called the customer service (only to be put on hold for over 20 minutes) then to be told that since they don't handle these issues someone else will call. We didn't receive and call. Post which my husband visited the JIO fiber office in Mahakali (Andheri)but was informed that this issue can only be sorted by calling the customer service.

Inview of the above, all we want is a solution i.e.

  1. Transfer the payment of Rs. 2824.92 to our active Jiofixed Voice number +91912231917876 and if not possible then
  2. Refund the payment
We have followed all instructions and sent emails but there is no response and when we call the service centre they say they can't refund or transfer the payment.

They are making us run from pillar to post for our own money.
