I would like to inform, Indusind Bank is a fraud bank and cheating people in India. They are offering credit card "Pinnacle" by saying by saying too many benefits but actually there are no benefits. When I called them on customer care they are saying you should read T & C, there they mentioned first come first serve basis. I tried several times and several days and never got any benefits, and they said Quota exhausted. They are making false promises to the customer and sailing high value card where individual need to pay 17700/- annual fees. They are fraud bank and need to be stopped immediately.

The Consumer Protection Act operates in two directions. Businesses are obligated to ensure transparency, quality, and safety, while consumers are expected to act responsibly and with awareness. Irresponsible consumer behavior—such as misusing warranties, ignoring product guidelines, or filing false complaints—can cause waste, increase costs, and result in legal consequences. In a broader sense, responsible consumerism encourages ethical business conduct, sustainable growth, and a more informed society.

In today’s economy—where digital transactions, global markets, and overwhelming advertising often blur the line between necessity and desire—understanding consumer responsibilities is more crucial than ever. Informed and responsible consumers not only protect their own interests but also help shape higher industry standards.

Be informed and aware.

The first and most basic obligation of a customer is knowledge. This covers knowing product labels, verifying expiration dates, price comparisons, and reading warranties or user manuals. Informed consumers are less likely to be victims of misleading advertising or inferior products.

Examining Terms and Conditions.

Consumers should read and understand the terms and conditions before agreeing to an online platform, purchasing a good, or subscribing to a service. Ignorance about return policies, hidden fees, or service limitations often causes conflicts.
