Dear Team,
My name is Sarangsingh S Bisen The consumer number is 049016666750 the connection is in the name of My Father Santoshsingh U Bisen .
We are the regular payer of the electricity bill,while there is some fault accrued in our house consumption of electricity then we make complaint by MAHAVITARAN application wher we can registered our issue.
But now we are trying to register complaint the through mahavitaran application they asking for the security deposite of rs 2230.
In this accordions on 15 th Feb 2026 our light connection disturbed so we tried to make complaint through mahavitaran application but it is showing to pay the security deposite which is the violation of our consumption right
1) Is this the legal way to ask for the security deposite?
2) Is this the authenticate way to ask the money?
3) If we face the emergency situation if like light sparkling,shocking situation,fire issue due to electricity,shortcircuit issue then how could we registered the complaint?
4) The profession of the board for asking security deposite is challengeable because according to the electricity act Acording Section 14 to 32 Of The Constitution Of India is the violation of our rights to live life in peacefully manner.
5) On that 15 feb 2026 also the electricity disturbed in duration of time of 3 to 4 hours is that way to ask security deposite
6) while taking connection we already paid the security deposite then how could we pay it again?
I also wrote mail them to for this issue but they did not give reply or resolve issue.
Kindly resolve our issue for the further peacefully situation.
