Subject: Submission of Consumer Complaint Regarding Illegal Smart Meter Installation and Wrongful Electricity Disconnection
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, the undersigned consumer, hereby submit the accompanying consumer complaint against Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited regarding unauthorized smart meter installation, wrongful disconnection of electricity supply, deficiency in service, and violation of provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003.
The complaint is being filed due to illegal actions carried out without prior notice, causing serious inconvenience, business loss, mental harassment, and violation of consumer rights. Despite regular payment practices through the earlier auto-debit system, the electricity connection was disconnected due to internal procedural failure after unauthorized meter replacement.
