Hi,
We have had our interiors installed from Livspace, it’s been 2 years.
The wood in one of our cupboards is falling down, there is no proper finishing. They are simply ignoring so many mails saying it’s due to water leak. There is a filler in water leakage area that has not affected. Other side cupboard got affected due to improper installation and there is no finishing.
Here is the complaint:
It has been only two years since installation, and the issue appears to be a result of poor workmanship rather than normal wear and tear. From the beginning, we have clearly pointed out that there was no proper finishing in the affected area. Due to this lack of finishing, the wood is now deteriorating and starting to come apart.
Additionally, while there is visible water presence in the filler zone near the washroom, that area remains unaffected. In contrast, the damage is occurring in a non-water-exposed area, which further supports our concern that the root cause is improper finishing, not external factors.
Despite our explanation, the assigned representative suggested that the issue might be due to a weak point in the wood. This raises serious concerns—if the material used was indeed weak, why was such material provided and installed in the first place? This indicates a clear issue with either material quality or installation standards.
We also want to highlight that other residents in the same apartment complex, including those who have opted for local interior services, have not faced similar issues even after five years. This comparison further reinforces that the problem lies with the quality of materials and/or workmanship provided in our case.
We chose Livspace based on trust and expected professional standards. Unfortunately, this experience does not reflect those expectations.
Given the circumstances, we request:
Please get this resolved and help us to get the replacement and the compensation.
