Complaint Details:
I am writing to lodge a strong complaint regarding the non-refund of ₹4,444 paid for a Jio Fiber connection at Whitefield, Bangalore, despite cancellation more than 10 months ago.- Amount Paid: ₹4,444
- Date of Payment & Booking: On or before 20 July 2025
- Jio Fiber Service ID / Mobile Number (Registered): ORN NO00017C85UK mobile number:8087465422
- Location: Whitefield, Bangalore
- Reason for Cancellation: The installation technician demanded an extra ₹500 (bribe) for providing the connection. I refused and cancelled the service on 20 July 2025.
- Status: No connection was installed. No equipment was provided or collected.
- Follow-ups Done: Multiple emails to customer care, several calls to 1800-896-9999, and multiple personal visits to the Whitefield Jio office. Despite all efforts, no refund has been processed till date.
My Demands:
- Immediate refund of the full amount ₹4,444 to my original payment account within 7 days.
- Written confirmation of the refund along with transaction details.
It has been over 10 months since the cancellation, and Jio Fiber has failed to process my refund. This is a clear case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.
