I bought an elevator on 01 May 2025 for my 68 year old wife as she is unable to climb stairs. Part of the payment was offered to me by the merchant (Nibav Lifts) on no interest EMI with a cashback to be paid in 90 days. After follow-up at least 20 times via calls to customer care, whatsapp messages and emails to their sales team and managers for a period of almost 5 months, I have been informed verbally by Mr Abhishek Kumar of their Pune sales office that they will not pay the cashback. I had paid by credit card and the credit card used was blocked by the bank for a possible fraud transaction and a new card issue by the same bank. I am told they do not have the means to pay as original card as it is blocked and refuse to credit to my new card issued in lieu of the blocked card by the same bank or any other means.

Charge slip attached with all information.
On the insistence of the merchant (Nibav lifts), I also checked with my bank (Axis Bank) who had issued credit card utilised for the said transaction. The bank has confirmed in writing that merchant has not paid the cashback amount as originally claimed by Nibav Lifts.
