Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention that I have received an unusually high electricity bill for the above-mentioned month. From last 3months also.The billed amount is not justified, as the electricity usage in my household/ premises has been very low during this period.
We also talking to your pavas office officer but they not give us proper response.
I request you to kindly recheck the meter reading and billing calculation. It is possible that:
The meter reading has been entered incorrectly, or
The meter is faulty and recording excess units, or
The bill is based on an estimated reading instead of the actual one.
Kindly arrange for a site inspection and meter testing, and revise the bill accordingly.
I have attached a copy of the disputed bill and previous months’ bills for your reference.
Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and inform me of the action taken at the earliest
