I am filing this complaint against DTDC Express Limited for a severe deficiency in service, gross negligence, and consequential financial loss regarding the transport of live plants.

1. Context and Arrival:
Two consignments containing live plants (AWB: D4000733465 and D4000733467) were booked with DTDC. The packaging was explicitly and clearly marked as containing "LIVE PLANTS" to ensure prioritized handling and timely delivery. The shipments successfully reached the final destination/delivery courier hub 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time.

2. Negligence and Delay:
Despite the package being at the final hub and clearly labeled as perishable live plants requiring immediate delivery, DTDC delayed the final delivery by an additional day.

3. Official Acknowledgment by DTDC:
DTDC has officially confirmed and admitted that there was a 1-day delay on their end in executing the final delivery. Due to this unnecessary delay and keeping the live plants confined in a dark, unventilated transit environment for an extra 24–48 hours, the plants dried up beyond recovery.

4. Damage Suffered:
Out of the 16 live plants shipped, 9 plants died completely due to dehydration and prolonged transit stress caused solely by DTDC's delivery failure.

5. Failure of Internal Grievance Redressal:
I raised official queries with their customer support team (Ticket IDs: 28070555 and 28070557) while the delivery was pending and immediately after. However, DTDC failed to respond in time to rectify the issue or prevent the damage, and they have not offered any fair compensation for the loss.

Relief / Compensation Sought
Full Refund of the courier/freight charges paid for both consignments due to failure of service standards.

Financial Compensation equivalent to the cost of the 9 plants that died due to DTDC's admitted negligence.

Compensation for mental agony and harassment caused by the complete lack of prompt response from their support team.
