They charged us Rs 23,600 for a nanny requirement for our 4-month-old baby and promised professional service, contract, 4 replacements, police verification, proper documentation, and support. After payment, everything changed.
Yes, a nanny was eventually deployed, but that felt more like luck than service.
My issues with Maidvy:
• No written contract, no clear replacement policy, and no police verification documents were ever provided despite repeated follow-ups.
• Charged Rs 20,000 + 18% GST but never gave a GST invoice, and even put my service on hold just for asking for it.
• Zero transparency about the company itself.
The most shocking part was the behaviour after I posted a review. Instead of resolving my concerns, I was pressured to take the review down. They clearly threatened that they would never service me again and even contacted our current maid offering a higher salary for another job, in an attempt to destabilise and traumatise us.
For a service involving childcare, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
I have already filed formal complaints against Maidvy and will pursue every possible avenue to seek a refund and hold them accountable so no other parent has to go through such a stressful and disappointing experience.
I genuinely regret trusting them. If you are reading this before making payment, please stay away from Maidvy.
