The AC was installed by the service personnel assigned through Flipkart. However, immediately after installation, the indoor unit started leaking gas. This clearly indicates product-related defect.
I contacted LG support, but I was informed that for the initial 3 months, service responsibility lies with Flipkart. On the other hand, Flipkart has cancelled my replacement request and advised me to contact LG directly.
As a customer, I should not be forced to coordinate between two companies while the issue remains unresolved. The product has been defective from the very beginning of installation and I require immediate resolution.
I request the following:
1. Immediate inspection of the AC by an authorized technician.
2. Written clarification regarding responsibility for service and replacement.
3. Replacement of the unit or complete rectification of the issue at no additional cost.
4. Resolution within 7 days from receipt of this email.
If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through the National Consumer Helpline and the Consumer Commission.
I request both LG and Flipkart to coordinate internally and provide a satisfactory resolution.
