Subject: Request for Refund Due to Defective TV and Delay in Complaint Resolution
Dear Sir/Madam,
I ordered a TV from Flipkart on 15/07/2026 and received it on 18July 2026. On the same day, I found that the TV had a display defect. I immediately raised a complaint through the Flipkart app, uploaded photos of the defective display, and requested a return within the eligible return period.
After raising the complaint, I was repeatedly given technician visit dates, but no effective action was taken. Due to the continuous delay from Flipkart's side, my return request was not processed within the return window.
During this period, one of your customer support executives clearly informed me that my return request would be approved and even advised me that I could purchase another TV from anywhere, assuring me that there would be no issue with the refund. Relying on this assurance, I waited for the resolution.
Now, after more than one and a half weeks, I have been informed that the return period has expired and that only a replacement can be provided. This is completely unfair because I reported the defect on the day of delivery and initiated the return request within the allowed period. The delay occurred solely due to Flipkart's failure to process my complaint.
I request that Flipkart approve my refund instead of forcing a replacement. I will attach the following documents as proof:
- Photos showing the TV display defect.
- Screenshots of the complaint and return request.
- Screenshots of Flipkart communication regarding technician visits and support.
I kindly request you to review my case and process my refund at the earliest.
