I placed an online order for a top and dupatta set from Fathis Design, Alappuzha, on 10 June 2026. The total amount of ₹2,600 was paid in advance through a bank transfer to the seller’s account.
After approximately one week, the seller informed me that the product had been dispatched through DTDC courier service. However, the product has not been delivered to me till date. I have contacted the seller multiple times through phone calls and messages to inquire about the delivery status.
Despite my repeated follow-ups, the seller has failed to provide proper information regarding the shipment and has not given a satisfactory explanation for the delay. Furthermore, the seller has neither delivered the product nor refunded the amount paid by me.
This conduct amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, causing me financial loss and mental distress. Therefore, I request the Hon’ble Consumer Commission to direct the seller to either deliver the ordered product immediately or refund the full amount of ₹2,600 along with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and hardship caused.
I respectfully request that necessary action be taken against the seller in accordance with consumer protection laws.
