Subject: Complaint Regarding Excessive Xerox Charges, Inconsistent Pricing and Lack of Billing Transparency
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a college student and would like to raise a complaint against Students Xerox regarding excessive charges and inconsistent pricing for academic printing services.
The shop has displayed a price board mentioning that the Xerox charge for students is ₹0.50 per page. However, I was charged ₹1.50 per page for my black-and-white Xerox work.
My total requirements were:
1. Black-and-white Xerox: 554 pages.
2. Binding: 11 copies.
3. Photosheets: 11 copies.
According to the displayed student Xerox rate, 554 pages should cost ₹277. However, I was charged at ₹1.50 per page, resulting in ₹831. The difference is ₹554.
Furthermore, during my previous interaction, I was informed that one binding and one photosheet together would cost ₹40. However, during my recent visit, I was charged ₹40 separately for each binding and ₹30 separately for each photosheet.
The shop informed me of the final amount only after completing the entire work and collected ₹1,430 through Google Pay.
I was not provided with any proper bill or itemised receipt explaining the charges.
