Details of Complaint:
Purchase Details: I purchased an Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41 (Serial/Model: R5 5625 16GB) along with accessories 27/134. 28-06-2026 for a total amount of 254,500/- (inclusive of 18% GST) via Invoice No. R/26-
Grievance: The product/service was defective / unsatisfactory, leading to a refund approval/request. However, the dealer (Real Solutions) is refusing to issue a 18% GST refund (18,313.56) and is only offering a partial refund after deducting the GST component.
Unfair Trade Practice: As per tax guidelines and consumer protection laws, when a purchase is cancelled or returned for a full refund/credit note, the seller is required to issue a Credit Note and refund the full invoice amount including GST. Deducting 18% GST (28,313.56) on a returned product constitutes unfair trade practice and deficiency in service.
Relief Sought:
Direct the dealer (Real Solutions) to issue a full refund of ₹54,500/- without deducting any GST amount. Appropriate action/compensation for mental harassment and loss of time.
