Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally raise a serious consumer grievance regarding a mobile phone purchased by me through Flipkart. The product delivered to me appears to be approximately two years old, despite being sold to me as a new mobile phone. Despite repeatedly contacting Flipkart customer support and explaining the issue, my complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved.

After receiving the mobile phone, I checked the relevant product/activation/warranty/manufacturing details and found information indicating that the device was approximately two years old. This is a serious concern because I purchased the device believing that I was receiving a new and unused mobile phone, and there was no clear disclosure to me at the time of purchase that the device was substantially old.
I immediately brought this matter to the attention of Flipkart through customer support. However, despite multiple communications and complaints, I have not received an appropriate resolution. Instead, I have been required to repeatedly explain the same issue without receiving a satisfactory remedy.
I consider this matter to be a serious deficiency in the service provided to me and a potential unfair trade practice, particularly if an old/previously activated device has been supplied as a new product without proper disclosure to the consumer.
I therefore request Flipkart to take the following action:
1. Provide me with a full refund of the amount paid by me, or replace the device with a genuinely new, unused and properly warranted device, as applicable.
2. Provide a written explanation regarding why a device that appears to be approximately two years old was delivered to me as a new product.
3. Confirm the manufacturing date, activation date, warranty commencement date and sales history/details of the device associated with the IMEI/serial number.
4. Provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, loss of time and harassment caused to me due to the failure to resolve this issue despite my repeated complaints.
5. Ensure that no further delay is caused in resolving this matter.
I request you to treat this email as a formal grievance and notice to resolve the consumer dispute. I am willing to provide the invoice, photographs, screenshots, warranty/activation information, IMEI details, customer-support communications and any other relevant evidence required to substantiate my complaint.
If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily within a reasonable period, I will be constrained to approach the appropriate National Consumer Helpline and/or Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and seek appropriate relief, including refund/replacement, compensation and costs, without any further notice.
I hope Flipkart will take this complaint seriously and resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Please provide me with a written response and a clear resolution to this complaint.
