I. Introduction & Purchase:
On April 02, 2026, I purchased a Haier 1.5 Ton AC from Flipkart (Order: OD437172643878544100) for 34,918. I also purchased an active 'Trust Shield' policy for additional protection.
II. Physical Damage by Authorized Technicians:
Upon delivery on April 02, Flipkart’s authorized installation partner (Jeeves) arrived. During installation, technicians Sharik Khan and Rehan Khan physically damaged the outdoor unit and copper piping, causing an immediate gas leak. They attempted to hide this by claiming a manufacturing defect.
III. Evidence of Negligence:
A subsequent official inspection by the manufacturer (Haier) under Work Order IN20260402000460 confirmed that the unit was damaged due to "Installation Negligence" by the Jeeves team. Despite this irrefutable proof, Flipkart delayed the return process for 17 days.
IV. Approval & Failure to Execute:
After submitting multiple requests for replacement/return and facing repeated cancellations between April 04 and April 13, Flipkart officially approved the return on April 17, 2026. However, they failed to pick up the item on the scheduled dates (April 19, 24, and 27). The company cited internal “Tracking ID generation errors” as the reason for withholding my refund.
V. Fraudulent Misrepresentation (The 4-Hour Lie):
On April 27, 2026, at 3:31 PM, a Flipkart Grievance Officer called and promised a manual refund initiation within 4 hours, bypassing the pickup. This was a deliberate lie to stall my National Consumer Helpline (NCH) case (Docket: 9183915). As of April 29, no refund has been received.
VI. Mental Agony & Hardship:
I have spent 27 days in peak summer heat without a functional AC due to Flipkart's negligence. I have faced immense mental agony, financial loss, and professional harassment due to the constant deceptive tactics employed by the company.
