I purchased a 1.5 Ton MarQ Air Conditioner from Flipkart, which was delivered on 24 April 2026. The installation was initially scheduled for 28 April 2026.
On 28 April, I received a call stating installation would be done on 29 April, while I simultaneously received a message scheduling it for 30 April. I stayed available on both days, but no technician arrived.
On 30 April, I was assured that installation would be completed before 12 PM on 1 May. However, instead of fulfilling this commitment, the installation date was updated to 7 May without any proper explanation.
From 1 May to 6 May, I contacted Flipkart customer support daily. Each time, I was assured that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours and installation would be completed the same day. These assurances were repeatedly false, and no action was taken.
On 6 May, the Jeeves installation team contacted me stating they would not come that day and would instead come “the next day,” and also requested the installation code. Based on prior experience of repeated false assurances and rescheduling, I did not share the code due to lack of trust.
Due to these continuous delays and misrepresentations:
Despite multiple complaints, there has been no proper response or resolution from Flipkart, Jeeves, or MarQ. This clearly amounts to deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and negligence.

I respectfully request the Hon’ble Commission to direct the opposite parties to:

- My brother’s limited 15-day vacation has been significantly disrupted.
- I have suffered mental stress, inconvenience, and loss of valuable personal time.
Despite multiple complaints, there has been no proper response or resolution from Flipkart, Jeeves, or MarQ. This clearly amounts to deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and negligence.
Relief Sought:
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Commission to direct the opposite parties to:
- Either:
- Complete installation on 7 May 2026 without any further delay,
OR - Take back the product and provide full refund.
- Complete installation on 7 May 2026 without any further delay,
- Pay total compensation of ₹50,000, which includes:
- Financial loss due to 10 days of leave taken,
- Mental harassment and inconvenience caused,
- Deficiency in service and repeated failure to honor commitments.
- Any other relief deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice.
