I, Mr. Devraj Reddy, resident of Bengaluru, Karnataka, hereby issue this legal notice regarding the gross deficiency in after-sales service rendered by Whirlpool in respect of my refrigerator.
I purchased a Whirlpool 431 L Frost Free Double Door 2 Star Convertible Refrigerator on 04 April 2026 through Flipkart for a consideration of ₹32,936. The refrigerator carries a 1-year comprehensive warranty and a 9-year compressor warranty.
After the refrigerator developed defects during the warranty period, I lodged a service complaint with Whirlpool.
Despite registering the complaint and extending full cooperation to your service personnel, the issue remains unresolved. More than 20 days have now elapsed since the complaint was registered, and Whirlpool has failed to repair the refrigerator or provide any satisfactory resolution.
I have also escalated the matter through the consumer grievance mechanism. However, despite the complaint being pending for several days, Whirlpool has neither resolved the issue nor provided any concrete timeline for resolution.
Your failure to rectify the defect within a reasonable period amounts to a clear deficiency in service and causes substantial inconvenience to me and my family.
As a consumer, I purchased the refrigerator expecting reliable after-sales support during the warranty period. Instead, I have been subjected to unnecessary delays, repeated follow-ups, inconvenience, and mental harassment.
