I bought a whirlpool refrigerator (IFPRO INV) on 20th July 2025 from Reliance Digital showroom, Green Park, Jeedimetla Village, Quthbullapur, Hyderabad, 500014. It was installed on 22nd July 2025. An additional 2 years of resQ plan number was also purchased. The Sales order number is 636/1
Within a day or two, the freezer had issues and ice could be seen forming there. The ice would melt and the water would leak into the fridge. I gave a call to the reliance store and they registered a complaint for the engineer to visit.
After the 1st engineer visited, he tightened the gasket, the leakage reduced but was still there. After several calls and repeated complaints, the 2nd engineer visited and opened the gasket and re-fixed it in the reverse direction. The problem increased after that, both the ice-formation and water leakage. Last week the engineer visited and mentioned that the new gasket will be ordered and replaced. However, till now there is no confirmation or information. I have mailed till customer care security desk and they have delayed the replacement of parts for the past 1 month.
The refrigerator given to us has a completely defective freezer. We intimated them the problem within few days, not even completing a week. I want the refrigerator to be replaced by a correct new unit.
