Dear Sir/Madam,
I am compelled to escalate my grievance regarding the defective Longway Superb 10 L Storage Water Geyser (Order ID: OD435614053253254100) purchased via Flipkart. Despite repeated follow-ups since 10 November 2025, neither Flipkart nor Longway has provided any resolution. This reflects a serious breach of consumer trust and after-sales responsibility.
The geyser, delivered during the Diwali period, was installed recently due to medical reasons. Upon installation, it was found to be completely non-functional (does not power on), causing severe inconvenience to my family.
I wish to place on record the following lapses:
- Absence of customer care support: Longway has no toll-free helpline or accessible grievance redressal mechanism.
- No authorized service centres: Customers are left stranded without any repair or replacement options.
- Flipkart’s continued listing of Longway products: Despite knowing the lack of support infrastructure, Flipkart continues to sell these products, misleading consumers with false assurances of service.
This situation amounts to misrepresentation, poor service, and violation of consumer rights.
I demand the following immediate actions:
1. Replacement or repair of the defective geyser without further delay.
2. Written accountability from Flipkart and Longway for failing to provide promised customer support.
3. Assurance of corrective measures so that products without proper service infrastructure are not listed, thereby preventing future consumer exploitation.
