I purchased a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Inverter Split AC from Reliance Digital, NSP, Delhi, on 21 May 2026. The product is still under warranty.
Soon after installation, the AC started developing serious issues. The compressor stops working after a few minutes of operation, and the Run and Timer indicators start blinking. I have raised multiple service requests, and several technicians have visited my residence to inspect the unit.
Initially, I was informed that the issue was related to gas leakage/refilling. Despite the inspection and attempted repairs, the problem was not resolved. On the latest visit, the technician, Mr. Gautam (Mobile: 9667273820), informed me that the cooling is fluctuating frequently and that there appears to be a compressor-related issue.
It is unacceptable that a brand-new air conditioner has developed repeated defects within such a short period after purchase. Despite multiple inspections and repeated follow-ups, neither Mitsubishi Heavy Industries nor its authorized service team has been able to permanently rectify the fault. Instead, new defects are being identified during every service visit.
Because of this recurring failure, my family, including my elderly parents, has been suffering without a functional air conditioner during extreme weather conditions. I have lost complete confidence in the quality and reliability of this product.
I have already requested Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to replace the defective AC instead of continuing with repeated repair attempts. However, my request has not been acted upon.
I request the National Consumer Helpline to intervene and direct the company to:
I request your intervention for an early and fair resolution.
