We being a policy holder have applied for cashless payment which was on the first hand rejected for unknown reasons after that Reeta Kaul was admitted to hospital at Apollo Sarita Vihar Delhi on 20th October 2024 and discharge on 25th October 2024 and we have raised a claim of Rs 765611 out of which Rs 541267 was passed while undertanfing the reason behind deduction we found that Rs 68728 were deducted on account of Co pay and higher category room which is not correct since our policy has Zero co payment charges and room category allowed is single private room so on these both accounts were deduction made is not justified.
I have raised this issue quite a number of times and even referred the matter to the grievance cell as well, Their response is attached herewith for your perusal and has been again rejected on the same premise without explaining break up of deduction made on account of Co pay, Mail attached for your reference.
Besides this i am enclosing here with the scheduled bed charges of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital for your determining affectial position of claim.
For your information this policy has been active for the last 14 years and this is the first time we have made a claim where we had a very bitter experience of manipulation by Niva Bupa and unnecessary harassment to the senior citizens.
We hold again that we have only used a single private room and hence the deductions made are unjustified and not authenticated by the due reasons, you are requested to look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.
