Si i blocked my card in the month of March-25. And now joining fees has been charges in the month of May-25 statement and amount got auto deducted from the account.
First discussion with customer care : “Your card is blocked but not cancelled im out system hence the yearly fees has been charged, now as per bank internal policy we cannot refund the same. As a gesture we are refunding only the late payment fees of rs 500/-“
1. Card was blocked so why fee has been charged.
2. If account was active then why there was no option to reissue the card again.
3. Why they don’t have a tollfree number to connect CC care team.
4. Why the gesture since this late payment fees should not be there at first place as i blocked the card with clearance of all the dues.
5. They have impacted my cibil well maintained from many years.

Have you received a new card after blocking the card ??

No i didn’t receive new card after the card block.
Not even this after blocking the card,
Whenever i tried to check the status of my card from my mobile banking app it always shows there are no card attached to your customer ID

As you mentioned that you have not received a new card, no card available on the mobile app. Based on our thorough evaluation, we suggest you that the only viable option left is to file a case before the nearest District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum.

Thank you for the response.
Before we proceed further
1. Since now they have already charged the Annual fees from my card so I asked bank to give me new card which I just received last week.
2. Before you proceed further for helping me filling the case, I would like to know the fees and other expenses they may occur to go forward for this case.
