Subject: Complaint regarding delayed delivery of product despite assured delivery date.

Complaint Details:

I placed an order for a rucksack hiking/travel bag on Flipkart based on the assured delivery date of 26 June 2026. I specifically purchased this product because I required it for my overseas travel.

On 26 June 2026, instead of delivering the product as promised, Flipkart updated the delivery date to 30 June 2026, citing a logistics issue. I was not informed of this delay in advance.

I am scheduled to leave India on Monday, 29 June 2026, to join my ship as a Merchant Navy Officer. Since I will be outside the country, delivery on 30 June is of no use to me. The delay has defeated the very purpose of purchasing the product.

I contacted Flipkart Customer Support and requested them to expedite the delivery considering the urgency of my travel. However, no satisfactory resolution has been provided.

This amounts to deficiency in service and failure to honor the assured delivery commitment, causing me inconvenience, mental stress, and financial loss.

Relief Sought:

1. Immediate delivery of the product before my departure, if feasible.
2. If immediate delivery is not possible, a full refund without any deductions.
3. Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, mental harassment, and failure to provide the service as promised.
4. Any other relief deemed appropriate by the Consumer Commission.

I request the Consumer Commission to take appropriate action against the deficiency in service and provide suitable relief.
