Complaint:


I booked flight tickets with SpiceJet Airlines under PNR/Booking Reference Number WYZEKI for two passengers with Happyfair:


  • Chhaya Mondal
  • Gurupada Mondal

Due to a serious medical emergency, Ms. Chhaya Mondal was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and her doctor strictly advised against travel. Considering this, I requested immediate cancellation of the tickets and applied for a full refund on compassionate grounds. And i have wrote several emails on the same


I have already:


  • Submitted a formal email request for cancellation and refund
  • Attached all required supporting documents (medical reports, doctor’s advice, ID proofs)
  • Contacted SpiceJet customer care and raised the same concern via phone

Despite multiple requests and follow-ups, no proper response or refund has been processed so far, which clearly shows deficiency in service and negligence by the airline.


As per consumer rights, when a service provider fails to provide timely service or refund, it amounts to unfair practice and the consumer is entitled to relief including refund and compensation .




Relief Sought:


I request the concerned authority to:


  1. Direct SpiceJet Airlines to process the full refund amount immediately, without any cancellation charges considering the medical emergency
  2. Provide compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience caused
  3. Ensure such negligence is not repeated with other consumers
