I am submitting this formal complaint against Sanali Group, Hyderabad for their refusal to refund the amount we paid towards booking Flat No. 1812 in the residential project Sanali The Edge, Kokapet, Hyderabad.
Details of the Case:
I, along with my friend Ravi Tej, jointly booked Flat No. 1812 in the above project on a shared basis. We paid a total amount of Rs. 48,00,000/- towards the booking. Due to undue delay in the project and failure of the builder to meet their commitments, we cancelled the booking on 10 September 2023 and requested a full refund.
Despite repeated follow-ups through WhatsApp messages, calls, and emails, the builder has not refunded the complete amount and continues to delay the process without any valid justification. This constitutes deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Reliefs Requested from the Hon’ble Consumer Commission
I request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly issue appropriate directions to the opposite party to:
Refund the remaining amount of Rs. 12,00,000 in full.
Pay interest on the delayed refund amount.
Provide compensation for mental harassment, inconvenience, and financial stress caused due to prolonged delay.
Reimburse litigation expenses incurred by me.
Grant any additional relief deemed appropriate in the interest of justice.
I request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly take necessary action and ensure that we receive the pending refund along with interest and compensation.
