This complaint (“Letter”) is in reference to courier services availed by Raj Kushawaha (“I or me or my ”) from M/s. Matoshree Express Logistics Network Private Limited (“Company”).
On 01.08.2026 approx. 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM, I had visited at the branch / registered office of the Company located at Shop no 7, radha building, Kamla Vihar Sports Club Ln, Kandivali, Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400067, India, to avail the courier service. The copy of the Company visiting Card is attached hereto and marked Annexure-A to this Letter.
I handover an envelope (“Parcel”) on the said date and time mentioned in the point no.1, I clearly mentioned that in the Parcel, it contains my sister confidential and essential information and documents and it should get delivered at the delivery location said by me and within the timeline. The Company agreed to delivery without misplacing and / or damaging the Parcel at the delivery location. The Parcel contained confidential information and essential documents of my sister were:
Transfer Certificate issued by Vidya Vikas College of Arts, Science, Commerce, BMM, BMS dated 29.06.2026; and
Student Eligibility Status Report for Vidya Vikas College of Arts, Science, Commerce, BMM, BMS dated 15.07.2026
Conversion Certificate dated 11.07.2026 having reference no.: VVC/Conver/7247/2026.
I trusting the Company and its reputation and agreed to avail the courier service and paid the necessary fees by Unified Payments Interface (“UPI”) of INR. 130/- (Rupees One Hundred and Thirty Only). Proof of the payment is attached hereto and marked Annexure-B to this Letter. The Company issued a receipt of the payment and other details related to the Parcel (“Receipt”). Receipt issued by the Company is attached hereto and marked Annexure-C to this Letter.
The Company said that the Parcel will reach at the delivery location within 6 (six) days from the date of the Receipt and you can track the Parcel by the number mentioned in the Receipt. However, after 6 (six) days from the date of the Receipt, when I phone called the Company at this number: +91 8591672021 and +91 9029631583 and asked about the Parcel because it has not reached at the delivery location mentioned in the Receipt, the Company said that Parcel has been misplaced and / or damaged need more time to search.
I gave an opportunity to the Company for few more days to search the Parcel but the Company has failed to find out the Parcel.
Today i.e. 18.08.2026, my Parcel is misplaced and / or damaged which has severely impacted me and my sister future educational and career life. The Company has miserably failed to complete the service for which I have paid the fees to the Company, Company has failed to complete their obligations.
Due to gross negligence and willful misconduct by the Company, it has caused severe mental trauma and depression to me and my sister because in the Parcel it contained my sister’s confidential and essential information and documents which was required by her new college for the admission.
The Company has miserable failed to fulfil its obligations, services, representations and warranty towards me.
The Company has also committed an offense under Section 2(10), 2(11), 2(28) and other relevant section’s if applicable, of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
As per section 2(23) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Company has caused injury to my Client.
As per the section 2(34) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for the injury caused by the Company to my Client, the Company is liable to pay or compensate my Client.
As per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (amendment time to time) the Company has provided service to me in receipt of deficiency
