I Mohammad Shabaz (contact no. 9528254154) resident of 271, Sai Vihar, Virbhadra Road, Rishikesh is the legal consumer of electricity connection number 42300503289, situated at property on Shankarpur-Hukmatpur Road, near Talab Wali Masjid, Selaqui. On July 1, 2025, my electricity connection was permanently disconnected without any due notice, inquiry, or communication and New connection on my property is given to Tamanna w/o Mohd Nasim. The sale deed was fraudulently taken from me by Mrs. Tamanna w/o Mohd Naseem and i filed a civil suit regarding this on 21 June, 2025 in the District Court , Dehradun at Vikasnagar with file no. Original Civil Suit 67/2025 for the Sale deed Cancellation. I tried to connected to SDO so many time but he refuse to answer my questions regarding the illegal Disconnection.
After filling an RTI on dated 01/12/2025 (Copy Attached along with RTI reply), I found out that my connection was disconnected based on an Affidavit, which falsely claimed that they were unable to contact me but No such attempt was ever made. Additionally, I discovered through the RTI that there is a Permanent Disconnection Form that the consumer must fill out to request a permanent disconnection but this form was also filled by Tamanna and signed it herself. The Department approved the request, even though it was supposed to be completed by the actual consumer, not by others. This was a serious violation of the proper procedure. The standard permanent disconnection procedure (notice to the consumer, inquiry, and NOC) was bypassed by the SDO and department.
Therefore, 1.0)- I respectfully request that strict action be taken against the concerned electricity department officials who, in collusion and without following due process, permanently disconnected my electricity connection, causing me major financial loss, mental harassment, and physical harassment. 2.0)- I further request that strict legal and departmental action be taken against the person who submitted forged/fraudulent documents and provided false information to the authorities to obtain the new electricity connection. The entire process appears to be illegal, biased, and a serious misuse of departmental authority, and therefore requires immediate inquiry and appropriate action against all responsible persons.
