I, the undersigned, am filing this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act for deficiency in service, misrepresentation, and health hazard caused by a fraudulent service interaction with representatives claiming to be associated with Livpure.

Background:
- On 31st July 2025, I booked a service request for my Livpure Water Purifier via the official Livpure helpline number.
- I received a call from 9337214117, identifying themselves as an official Livpure technician.
- The technician visited my home, claimed to replace the filter, and convinced me to purchase a 2-year extended warranty for Rs. 4,140, to be paid via PhonePe.
- The payment was made to an entity named SPIC Water Solution (not disclosed initially). The SMS from the service booking mentioned Aswini Home Solution, causing confusion regarding the identity of the actual service provider.
- After the payment, I was told that I would receive the warranty receipt by email within 2 days. No such receipt was provided.
- Upon repeated follow-up calls, I was told it would take 1 month, and when I demanded a refund, I was rudely scolded and threatened to go to the police if I wished to take action.
- I escalated the matter to Livpure’s customer support, who claimed that these were third-party service providers, and gave me the contact of the Area Manager – Mr. Aditya. Mr. Aditya assured that I would receive the extended warranty within 2 days. As of today, 8th September 2025, I have received no warranty, no refund, and no proper resolution.
- Moreover, after their so-called service, the water purifier is providing poor-quality water, and I suspect the technician did not replace the filter at all, and only did a direct bypass. Due to drinking this water, I suffered from fever and liver pain, which I believe is directly linked to the contaminated water.
- Currently, no one is responding to my calls or emails. I am left without a working purifier, out of Rs. 4,140, and my health has suffered due to this negligence and potential fraud.
- Relief Sought:
- Full refund of Rs. 4,140 paid for the so-called extended warranty.
- Compensation of Rs. 50,000 for mental harassment, health issues, and deficiency in service.
- Direction to Livpure to take accountability for the third-party service providers acting in their name.
- Criminal investigation against SPIC Water Solution, Aswini Home Solution, and the Area Manager (Mr. Aditya), for possible fraud and endangerment of health.
- A certified copy of the 2-year warranty, if it exists, and full service report including what was replaced (if anything).
