I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding a Daikin 5-star Split AC that I purchased approximately one year ago. The unit suddenly started making loud, disturbing noises and automatically switched off during normal operation.
Upon inspection by your service engineer, I was informed that:

1. The coil inside the indoor unit has broken in three places, which is highly unusual for a relatively new unit.

2. The swing flap is also broken, rendering the unit completely unusable.


This is extremely disappointing, especially considering Daikin’s reputation for quality and the fact that this unit is rated 5-star. I have maintained the unit as per instructions and expected a much longer trouble-free operation from a premium brand.

I request the following:
A detailed explanation of how such damage could occur in just a year.
Immediate repair or replacement of the damaged parts free of cost, as this seems like a case of manufacturing defect.
An expedited service as the AC is essential for daily comfort, and we are facing considerable inconvenience.
