Hon'ble Consumer Disputes Redressal CommissionSubject: Complaint regarding failure to provide online RIMC coaching services despite payment of coaching fees
Respected Sir/Madam,I Pawan Kumar respectfully submit this complaint against SD EMPIRE EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, Plot No. 16, Block 7, Sector 5, Rajendra Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201005, regarding failure to provide the online RIMC coaching services for which I had paid the requisite coaching fee.
Facts of the Complaint
- That I registered my son Vikrant Sharma for the online RIMC coaching programme offered by the Opposite Party on 7 April 2026.
- That I paid the prescribed coaching fee for the said online RIMC coaching programme. The details of the payment are as follows:
- Amount paid: ₹ 10500/-
- Date of payment: 7 April 2026
- Mode of payment: Online
- Transaction/Receipt No.: SDC/Online/26-27/4779
- That at the time of registration, I enrolled for the online RIMC coaching with the expectation that the Opposite Party would provide regular and adequate coaching/classes as part of the programme.
- However, despite my registration and payment, the Opposite Party provided only two English classes before the commencement of the RIMC entrance test in June 2026.
- That no adequate/regular coaching for classes were provided for the preparation of the examination. Consequently, the purpose for which I had enrolled in and paid for the coaching programme was substantially defeated.
- That I contacted the Opposite Party several times by telephone and requested them to take appropriate action and provide the promised coaching/services. Despite repeated calls and requests, no effective action was taken by the Opposite Party.
- That the failure to provide the coaching services after accepting the coaching fee has caused me financial loss, inconvenience, mental harassment and loss of valuable preparation time, particularly because the RIMC entrance examination was scheduled for June 2026.
- That I have made reasonable efforts to resolve the matter directly with the Opposite Party, but the issue remains unresolved.
Grounds of Complaint
The conduct of the Opposite Party amounts to deficiency in service and unfair conduct in relation to the service provided, as the coaching fee was accepted but the promised/expected coaching services were not adequately provided.Reliefs Sought
In view of the facts stated above, I respectfully request the Hon'ble Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to:
- Direct the Opposite Party to refund the coaching fee of ₹ 10500/- paid by me.
- Award reasonable compensation for the inconvenience, harassment and loss caused to me due to the failure to provide the coaching services.

- Grant any other relief that the Hon'ble Commission may deem just and proper in the circumstances of the case.
