Complaint Regarding Deficiency in Service and Negligence by Zingbus During Travel

I booked a Zingbus ticket for travel from Hyderabad to Bengaluru on 17 September 2025 (PNR available).
The journey was operated by Zingbus through Sai Virat Travels (bus details available).
During the journey, while the bus was running, my Dell Chromebook laptop was stolen from inside the bus.
Another passenger in the same bus also lost his laptop during the same journey, which shows this was not an isolated incident.
I immediately informed the bus marshal/driver and requested them to stop near the nearest police station, but the bus staff delayed and did not act promptly.
Due to the delay by the crew, immediate police help could not be taken, and valuable time was lost.
After reaching Bengaluru, I approached the police and an FIR was registered at Upparpet Police Station, Bengaluru for theft (FIR copy available).
Even after registration of FIR, the bus operator Zingbus did not provide any cooperation, such as CCTV footage, passenger list, or staff assistance.
I repeatedly contacted Zingbus through emails, but they refused responsibility and did not offer any compensation or resolution.
Because of this incident and lack of support, I suffered financial loss, mental stress, and harassment.
I am not alleging theft by Zingbus. The theft is by unknown persons.
My complaint is regarding negligence, deficiency in service, and failure of duty of care by Zingbus.
The criminal case (FIR) is still pending and no chargesheet is filed yet, but I understand that consumer compensation proceedings are independent of criminal proceedings.
I want to file a consumer case under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for:
Deficiency in service
Negligence by staff
Mental harassment
Compensation for loss
