I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a defective washing machine that I purchased on 22 January 2026.
Within just four days of purchase, I noticed a serious issue: the water was not properly transferring into the dryer section. I immediately informed the shopkeeper about the problem and requested a resolution. The shopkeeper registered a complaint, and since then, technicians have visited approximately five times (in groups of 2–2) to inspect the machine.
However, despite multiple visits, the issue has not been resolved. Instead, the technicians repeatedly provided illogical and unsatisfactory explanations, without fixing the defect. I consistently followed up with both the service center representatives and the company dealer, clearly stating that the machine is defective and requesting either a replacement or proper repair.
During the most recent visit, two technicians—including Mr. Sachin—inspected the machine and confirmed that the product is indeed defective due to a hole inside the unit, which is preventing water from properly entering the dryer. Mr. Sachin assured me that he would return within two days to fix the issue. His last visit was on 9 April 2026, but he has not returned since then.
Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, the technician has been making excuses, and the dealer has also refused to replace the defective product.
This situation has caused significant inconvenience and reflects a lack of proper service and accountability. I request immediate action in the form of:
Replacement of the defective washing machine, or
Complete repair of the machine at no additional cost
If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to take further action under consumer protection laws.
I request you to kindly look into this matter and provide a resolution at the earliest.
