I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding my Order ID: OD437643834663349100 for the MarQ by Flipkart 92 L Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerator.

I received a refrigerator with a manufacturing defect. After reporting the issue, I was informed that the defective product would be picked up and a replacement would be delivered by 30 June 2026. However, neither the pickup nor the replacement has been completed.

I have contacted customer support several times, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Despite repeated assurances, the issue remains unresolved. The complaint has even been marked as closed, although the promised replacement has not been delivered and the defective product has not been picked up.

This experience has caused me significant inconvenience, financial loss, and mental stress. The return and replacement process has been unnecessarily delayed, leaving me without a working refrigerator despite multiple follow-ups.

I request that Flipkart take immediate action to:

Arrange the pickup of the defective refrigerator without any further delay.
Deliver the replacement product immediately or process a full refund.
Reopen my complaint until the issue is completely resolved.
Investigate why the complaint was closed without fulfilling the promised resolution.

I expect a prompt response and a permanent resolution at the earliest.

MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

1. PARTICULARS OF THE COMPLAINANT:
The Complainant is a resident of UP and currently working in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and is a bona fide consumer who placed an order on the e-commerce platform operated by the Opposite Parties.

2. PARTICULARS OF THE GOODS/SERVICE & TRANSACTION:

  • Product Name: MarQ by Flipkart 92 L Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerator
  • Order ID: OD437643834663349100
  • Date of Transaction: May 2026
  • Mode of Purchase: Online via Flipkart Platform
3. FACTS OF THE CASE:

  • That the Complainant purchased the aforementioned refrigerator for domestic use. Upon delivery, the unit was found to have a severe manufacturing defect, rendering it completely non-functional.
  • That the Complainant immediately raised an official dispute with the Opposite Parties' customer support team.
  • That the Opposite Parties formally acknowledged the defect and explicitly committed (via Ticket No: 6781776137998) to execute a reverse pickup of the defective appliance and deliver a fresh operational replacement on or before 30th June 2026.
4. GRIEVANCE & DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE:

  • That despite the passing of the committed deadline (30th June 2026), the Opposite Parties failed to fulfill their statutory and administrative obligations. Neither was the defective unit picked up, nor was the replacement delivered.
  • That to the absolute shock of the Complainant, the Opposite Parties abruptly marked the active dispute/ticket as "CLOSED" in their internal system without providing any physical resolution, refund, or replacement.
  • That the Complainant has sent multiple reminders (up to Reminder-9) and logical escalations to the support desk, CS-Head, and Grievance Team, but has only received repetitive, scripted evasions.
5. MENTAL AGONY AND LOSS:That the continuous negligence, unfair trade practices, and absolute breach of contract by the Opposite Parties have caused severe financial loss, extreme mental agony, and practical harassment to the Complainant's household, leaving them without an operational refrigerator during peak utility seasons.

6. PRAYER / RELIEF SOUGHT:In the light of the facts mentioned above, the Complainant respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Commission may graciously be pleased to order the Opposite Parties to:

  • A. Refund the full purchase amount of the product directly to the Complainant's account.
