Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the AQUAGUARD ASTOR RO+UV+UF+MTDS ALKALINE water purifier purchased from Eureka Forbes Limited hoping it would provide alkaline water to control my GERD condition.
However, after installation, I discovered that the water purifier's alkaline functionality was not working as expected. Repeated requests to check the pH value of the water were ignored, and the technical team failed to address this issue during regular service visits.
On August 28, 2025, I raised a complaint, and the technical team finally checked the pH value, revealing that the purified water had a pH level of 5.94, which is not alkaline. The technical person admitted that there was a problem and promised to rectify it if I renewed the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
I am willing to renew the AMC only if Eureka Forbes provides a written assurance that the pH value issue will be rectified, and the water will be maintained at an alkaline level (pH above 7.5) after renewal. Despite agreeing to this, the team has stopped attending to my calls without providing the necessary written commitment.
I request you to look into this matter urgently and provide a resolution.
