Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a tenant residing in a 1 BHK ground floor unit under a lease agreement of ₹3,00,000. For a long time, we have been facing frequent drainage water leakage in the building. Despite raising multiple complaints, the owner only carries out temporary fixes which do not solve the problem.
Now, even after the lease agreement has been completed, the leakage issue has resurfaced in the last two days. The owner is not taking any responsibility to repair the damage or address the sanitation hazard. This negligence is causing severe inconvenience and poses a health risk to my family.
I kindly request your intervention to:
1. Direct the owner to carry out a permanent repair of the drainage system.
2. Ensure compliance with housing and sanitation standards.
3. Provide relief and compensation for the repeated inconvenience caused.
