## **SUBJECT: Complaint for Deficiency in Service, Mental Harassment, and Non-Reimbursement of Expenses**

### **MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:**

1. That the complainant is a law-abiding consumer and availed car rental services from the Opposite Party (Zoomcar).

2. That during the course of usage of the rented vehicle, a challan amounting to ₹1,70,000 (approx.) was imposed, along with additional travel expenses of ₹50,000 incurred by the complainant.

3. That the complainant has already submitted all required documents, bills, and proofs to the Opposite Party through email and other communication channels.

4. That despite repeated follow-ups and more than 100 emails sent by the complainant, the Opposite Party has failed to resolve the issue or reimburse the legitimate expenses.

5. That the Opposite Party has been repeatedly giving vague responses such as “legal team is working” or “city team is reviewing”, without providing any clear timeline or resolution.

6. That due to such negligent and irresponsible behavior, the complainant has suffered:

* Severe financial loss
* Mental harassment and stress
* Loss of time and effort

7. That the actions of the Opposite Party clearly amount to:

* Deficiency in Service
* Unfair Trade Practice

## **CAUSE OF ACTION:**

The cause of action arose when the Opposite Party failed to reimburse the complainant despite repeated requests and continues till date.

## **RELIEF SOUGHT:**

The complainant respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Commission may kindly:

a) Direct the Opposite Party to reimburse:

* ₹1,70,000 (Challan Amount)
* ₹50,000 (Travel Expenses)

b) Award compensation of ₹1,00,000 for mental harassment and inconvenience.

c) Award litigation costs of ₹25,000.

d) Pass any other order deemed fit in the interest of justice.
