I, Manoj Kumar, am filing this complaint against Go Digit General Insurance Ltd. for deficiency in service and unfair claim repudiation.
I hold a valid motor insurance policy for my Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2019 (Registration No. UP36L0831). An underbody impact incident occurred on 06/06/2026, and the vehicle was inspected by the insurer on 15/06/2026.
The insurer subsequently rejected my claim stating that the underbody damage was old and accumulated in nature and that suspension-related issues existed prior to the reported incident.
Despite repeated requests, the insurer has failed to provide any engineering report, surveyor findings, technical assessment, metallurgical analysis, expert opinion, scientific testing, or any documentary evidence supporting its conclusions.
The insurer has merely asserted that the damage is old based on visual observations and the presence of rust without providing any objective technical basis for determining the age of the damage. Similarly, suspension-related observations have been linked to prior service history without any technical report establishing a causal connection.
The claim repudiation appears to be based on assumptions rather than verifiable evidence. The insurer has not provided the technical material relied upon to reject the claim, thereby depriving me of a fair opportunity to understand and challenge the basis of the decision.
I submit that the actions of the insurer constitute deficiency in service, lack of transparency, arbitrary claim repudiation, and failure to conduct a fair and evidence-based claim assessment.

- Direct the insurer to provide all surveyor reports, inspection reports, photographs, and technical documents relied upon in rejecting the claim.
- Set aside the repudiation decision if it is found unsupported by objective evidence.
- Direct settlement of the claim as per policy terms.
- Award compensation for mental harassment, inconvenience, and financial loss caused due to wrongful claim repudiation.
- Award litigation costs and any other relief deemed fit in the interest of justice.
