Respected Sir/Madam,
I had booked a flight ticket with SpiceJet Airlines on _17.04.2026 (date of booking) for travel from SXR to DEL on 18.04.2026 (travel date). However, the airline cancelled the flight at the last moment, causing severe inconvenience and hardship to me.
Due to an urgent family matter, I was compelled to book another flight ticket at a much higher fare of Rs. 8885. Because of the sudden cancellation by the airline, I suffered financial loss, mental stress, and unnecessary trouble.
I contacted the airline and requested a refund and compensation, but no satisfactory resolution has been provided till date.
Therefore, I humbly request this Hon’ble Consumer Court to direct SpiceJet Airlines to:
Refund the cancelled ticket amount of Rs. 5811.
Reimburse the additional amount paid for alternate flight booking Rs. 3100 And 2000
Pay compensation for mental harassment, inconvenience, and financial loss
Pay litigation cost and any other relief deemed fit by this Hon’ble Court
I shall be grateful for your kind consideration and justice.
