Television Complaint Against Sony India for Defective TV and Failure to Provide Timely Resolution

I am filling this complaint against Sony India for complete lack of proper service and resolution for an issue with respect to a Sony television purchased by me, despite repeated attempts and efforts of getting a resolution from my side over a prolonged period.

I have spent significant time, money and effort in trying to get the issue resolved, yet Sony has failed to provide any effective solution.
I have been making calls, sending follow ups, requesting them to provide me a proper update on what exactly the issue is, every time I call them the service center guys tell me some different problem and some different quote, it's been close to 2 years that we purchased the Television and it never had any issue earlier.

The television developed a fault, and we immediately contacted Sony Customer Care, since then:
1. The customer care takes days to get back after every call we make.
2. Technician visited and he spent like more than an hour, and wasn't sure of the issue, but after making multiple calls finally concluded that it's a back light issue.
3. I again called customer care and they mentioned they will get back, but no response from them, finally after multiple follow us I had to myself take the TV to service center, spent time there and then the technicians there told me its back light issue but our systems are not working fine right now, we are not sure, you leave the TV with us, we will get back to you by evening.
4. NO UPDATE FROM SERVICE CENTER FOR DAYS AFTER THAT, I KEPT ON FOLLOWING UP BUT NO STATUS UPDATE.
5. Few days after that I am told that the issue is with power supply most probably and not with backlight! I was surprised that now they are telling different issue, then I asked them to share quote and give me a confirmation that the problem will be resolved with this, to which they refused and told me that I should purchase a new TV from them if the problem doesn't get resolved!!!
6. Again, I tried multiple times to get in touch with customer care and discuss this pattern of changes in statements by the service center, but no luck!!
7. Sony has continuously delayed the repair without any clear or committed timeline.
8. I HAVE SPENT MY OWN MONEY, TAKEN TIME OFF WORK, WENT TO SERVICE CENTER, AND MADE CONTINOUS FOLLOW UPS WITH NO RESULT!!!


IMPACT ON ME:
1. Financial loss, including technician visit, leave from work, transport etc.
2. Mental Harassment and Inconvenience due to repeated delays and irresponsible service approach.
3. Product still in the Service Center, now that they have been mentioning multiple different problems, my concern is they might be trying to take off some other part of it, causing direct loss of value despite being a premium Sony device.

RELIEF/RESOLUTION REQUESTED:
I request Consumer Forum to kindly contact Sony India to:
> Repair the TV immediately at no cost.
OR
> Replace the TV with new one of equivalent model.
OR
>Provide full refund of purchase amount.

Additionally, help me with a compensation for:
Mental stress and inconvenience caused.
time and money spent in multiple follow ups.

Sony's failure to provide proper after-sales service for such an expensive product is unacceptable and violates my consumer rights!!
