Subject: Complaint against SBI Credit Card for unauthorized deductions and failure to update registered mobile number

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Sri Rajib Ghose, residing presently at Bokakhat wish to lodge a formal complaint against SBI Credit Card Services for unauthorized deductions from my account and negligence in updating my registered mobile number despite repeated requests.


1. Credit Card Details
  • SBI Credit Card Number: 5287 3498 8776 0993
  • Credit Limit: ₹15,000

2. Nature of Complaint
  • Over the past year, SBI Credit Card has deducted more than ₹30,000 from my account, which is double the credit limit of ₹15,000.
  • Despite these payments, the card account still shows dues pending, which is unjustified and misleading.
  • I have made more than 15 email requests to SBI Card customer support & SBI Contact change to update my registered mobile number, which is currently non-functional.
  • I also contacted the SBI Card Sales Manager, Mr. Jishuraj Gogoi, on multiple occasions at his mobile number 7086049883, requesting assistance in updating my registered mobile number, which is currently non-functional. I also submitted my KYC documents to him, but he showed no interest in resolving the issue.

3. Impact
  • I am unable to receive OTPs, alerts, or transaction updates due to the outdated mobile number.
  • The unexplained deductions and lack of resolution have caused me mental distress, financial inconvenience, and a breach of trust.

4. Relief Sought


I respectfully request the Hon’ble Forum to:


  • Direct SBI Credit Card to provide a detailed statement of all deductions made from my account.
  • Order SBI to reverse any unauthorized charges and correct the outstanding balance.
  • Instruct SBI to update my registered mobile number 9395947805 immediately.
  • Award compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience caused due to negligence and poor service.
