I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the poor customer service I have experienced in relation to my OLA Scooty.

I have been facing issues with my OLA Scooty/scooter not starting/for supplying a defective electric scooter. I reached out to OLA customer care team multiple times through call, but the responses have been delayed and unhelpful.

Despite raising a service request on 19th Aug 2025, there has been no proper follow-up or resolution. I also visited the service center, but the staff was unresponsive and did not provide a clear solution or timeline. This kind of experience is highly disappointing and not acceptable for a premium electric vehicle brand. I request your team to urgently look into this matter and provide a clear solution at the earliest. I also expect better support from your end, both in terms of responsiveness and the quality of service.

I attempted to contact Ola Electric’s customer care number (080-33113311), which was invalid. After significant effort, I obtained a showroom representative’s personal number. The representative provided temporary troubleshooting advice, which allowed me to reach home safely. This incident highlights the company’s failure to provide reliable emergency support.

I called on OLA electric customer care multiple times and they're saying kindly wait you will get a call. I don't have any complaint number. Also vehicle is at my place. Kindly suggest where should I submit.

If they are not responding to your emails, we suggest you to file a case against them in the Consumer Forum.

I had been facing issues with my OLA Scotty that stopped repeatedly on the road showing an error symbol with system error restart again . After checking by the technician at the above Khordha, Odisha service center, the Ola service Manager at Khurda Branch said that there is an issue on the motor of the scotty, so you have to hand it over to us to resolve the problem and it will take 7-10 days. As suggested I have handed over to them running km 10556 on dt.11-08-2025. On 21st Aug I received a message with verification code from JD-OLAELC-S handing over ola scotty for service repair whereas I was handed over on 11-08-2025 with a difference running km-10697 with excess running 141 kms. After that I have contacted the service center 3 times but got a response that the motor part was not received from the company so it will take 7-10 days. In between 1 month and 2 days completed under service condition.

For that I reached out to the OLA customer care team multiple times through call, but the responses have been delayed and unhelpful. Today some customer care service received and his responses were not satisfactory. Also bound me to disconnected saying wait for some days. But not getting any solution. Very very disappointing behavior.

I also contacted Ola Electric’s customer care number. This incident highlights the company’s failure to provide reliable support.


Now one month has already been completed on service repair conditions which are covered under warranty. I have been facing lot of problem that

1. My warranty covered one month with standing condition at your service center without running for handing over faulty motor and service delay. Is that duration of one month extended in my warranty?
2. For the standing condition I have already lost financially as we have to go to my office with private vehicles having Rs.4000/- expense incurred in this standing duration.
3. Without riding that vehicle also I give my installment Rs.3500/-.
4. For your service negligence, I also waste my time as I purchase that for reaching on time at my office. For that I am also facing financial loss of salary deduction.
5. I have been facing harassment, financial loss, warranty loss.
6. Please confirm whether you will bear these expenses and warranty extended till your delay of handing over the scotty to me?
7. If you failed to bear/deny to give the compensation amount for your negligence I will lodge a consumer case against you.
8. I am waiting for your response. If my ola is not satisfactory handed over to me within 5 days with ok condition having warranty extended 1 month extra I will take the legal action against you.

Directing the OLA Electric Mobility Private Limited, Bangalore to pay back the amount of Rs. 1,41,734/- (One Lakh Forty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Four Only) and take back the OLA S1 Pro electric bike with registration number TN 55 BL 9514 from the complainant.
Additionally, OLA Electric Mobility Private Limited, Bangalore and the second opposite party/ OLA Electric Bike Showroom, Tiruchirappalli either jointly or severely needs to pay Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lakh Only) as compensation for the deficiency of services of the first and the second
opposite party as well as unfair trade practices of the second opposite party towards the complainant, as well as for the mental agony caused due to the act of both opposite parties. Additionally, the first and the second opposite parties either jointly or severely need to pay Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Only) as litigation expenses to the complainant.

Orissa - Sambalpuri - OLA ELECTRIC Scooty Company V/S Kishan Agrawal

The OLA ELECTRIC Scooty Company is directed to refund Rs. 1,61, 956/- with 9% interest from the date of payment till realization towards cost of the electric vehicle to the Complainant which was paid by the Complainant to the OLA ELECTRIC at the time of booking the vehicle or deliver the said OLA Scooty OLA S1 PRO 2nd Gen within one month from the date of the order. Further the OLA ELECTRIC are directed to pay Rs. 1, 00,000/- towards deficiency in service and mental agony suffered by the Complainants as compensation. Further the OLA ELECTRIC are directed to pay Rs. 15,000/- towards cost of the petition to the Complainant within 30 days from the date of order, failing which all the amount will further carry with 9% interest per annum till realization.

Andhra Pradesh - Anantapur - The Ola Electric Scooters(Show Room), Rep. by its Authorized Signatory V/S K.Swathi

Case filled by the Smt. K. Swathi W/o Harshavardhan Reddy frm Ananthapuramu District against The Ola Electric Scooters (Show Room), The Old Electric Technologies Private Limited and The Ola Electric Mobility Limited.

Smt. K. Swathi booked Liquid Silver color, but delivery person informed that if there is any damage to the scooter, it will be taken back without delivery, but this is a different issue, hence complainant has no choice except to receive the bike. The complainant mentioned in the delivery receipt about the color problem, she clearly stated that she booked Liquid silver color but delivered Guerra colour, the delivery agent promised her he will report the same to the concerned head. On 02.05.2022 the Ola challenger took the bike back from the complainant and given e-way bill. On repeated phone calls to Ola challenger, Ola App lead and to Ola customer care, the complainant received a call from Ola App leader Mr. Jagir Basha and complainant had a conference call with their superior, who assured complainant that the Ola bike order would be cancelled and the amount had paid would be refunded within 9-10 working days. The complainant repeatedly contacted the officials of the Ola Electric Scooters to request a refund. Since the bike had already been taken by the Ola Electric Scooters their employees acted negligently, causing the complainant mental agony and harassment.

In the result, the complaint is partly allowed by directing the Ola Electric Scooters to refund the price of the Ola bike i.e,Rs.1,39,163/- (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Nine Thousand One Hundred and Sixty Three Only) along with @9% P.A., from the date of purchase. The Ola Electric Scooters was also liable to pay compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) towards mental agony and deficiency in service, costs within 45 days from the date of the judgment.
