Subject: Complaint Against Misleading JioMart Gift Card Terms and Unfair Consumer Practice
Respected Sir/Madam,
I wish to file a complaint against JioMart regarding misleading and unfair terms related to a gift card purchased by me.
I purchased a JioMart Gift Card worth ₹2000. However, after purchase, JioMart customer support informed me that the gift card can be used only once in a single transaction. This important restriction was never clearly disclosed during or after purchase.
On the gift card details page and redemption instructions, there is no visible mention that the card is “one-time use only” or that the remaining balance cannot be reused later.

This lack of transparency is misleading and unfair because customers naturally expect that the balance amount can be used multiple times until exhausted.

I request the Consumer Authority to kindly:
Investigate this misleading practice by JioMart.
Direct the company to allow multiple/partial usage of the remaining balance.
Ensure proper disclosure of terms and conditions for customers in future.
Provide appropriate resolution and compensation for the inconvenience caused.
